far superior than any eurythmics lp (including ’savage’ and ‘revenge’)by a very under rated artist who carried annie lennox for years.

  2. supersoulrythim Says:

dave is a new term of coolness

  3. mikeMCSG Says:

Jonathan Perkins (keyboards) was in the Original Mirrors and (very briefly) XTC.

  6. kayscuba Says:

And finally, did Jack come to London? Do you know if the lyrics are from Nicholson himself???

  7. sverigessistacowboy Says:

Jack Nicholson is a close friend of Dave Stewart and Dave wrote this song remembering a telefon conversation he had with Jack. (According to an interview with Dave in the early 90s).

  8. RecordWarped Says:

This is brilliant! I never really cared much for Dave’s post-Eurythmics material, but I’ll have to give them another chance. Thanks for opening my mind (and ears).

  9. kayscuba Says:

Could somebody explain “Jack”? Why Jack Nicholson? I don’t understand…

  10. OMDita Says:

It´s very beautiful magical song, it´s the only song I can concentrate on work and relax at the one time while listening to it …it´s so positive,….when i listen to it, i want to pack my stuff and travel some far away to my ex love by car and listen just this song..and do something really crazy..

  16. weatherboxlisp Says:

Someone needs to show dave Stewart the dictionary entry for the word ‘huimilty, because he clearly has never heard it, any of its synonyms, nor is he at all sensible of the concept of not being a totally self-obsessed fucktard. Oh yeah, and everything he has ever done ‘creatively’ has been soulless shite. This is why i believe he must contract AIDS and shortly therefater disover a malicious and incurable cancerous tumour on his anus rim. I hope him and his family burn to death slowly.

I had the album on tape back in the day and then just stopped listening to tapes. Just last year, I found a dirt cheap copy of the CD and as it turns out it’s still one of my fav album of all times. I have it on my iPod!
